This guided tour through hidden water caves takes you past crystal-clear underground pools, concealed cave chambers, and fascinating dry caves. Your adventure begins with a short walk to the cave entrance, where your guide explains safety and equipment. Next, you descend into the cave using a rope and explore the underground passages and freshwater pools.
In the cave, you swim through crystal-clear water, navigate through narrow passages, and discover fascinating rock formations and hidden spaces. Furthermore, your experienced guide tells you all about the geology, history, and unique environment of the cave.
One of the highlights is the opportunity to reach a hidden second chamber via a short underwater passage. This activity is entirely optional; you decide whether you want to do this, and your guide will accompany you in both cases.

That is no problem at all. The freediving part is optional. You can enjoy the rest of the cave experience without participating in the underwater passage.
Yes. Because part of the experience takes place in underground pools, participants must feel comfortable swimming and being in the water.
Yes. A professional, certified guide will accompany you throughout the entire adventure, from the walk to the cave entrance to the exploration of both the wet and dry parts of the cave.
Safety is our top priority. Our experienced guides provide safety instructions, equipment, and guidance throughout the entire experience, including the descent and the tour through the cave.
Jewelry, flip-flops or sandals, sunscreen, and insect repellent are not permitted in the cave. These items can damage the cave environment or pose risks to the safety and preservation of the cave.
Wear comfortable swimwear with a T-shirt or lycra shirt over it. Sturdy shoes are required for the walk to and from the cave, although these must be removed during the part in the water.
Bring swimwear, as well as a shirt or lycra top that can get wet, sturdy shoes that can get dirty, a towel, and a water bottle. You may also bring a waterproof camera or phone case. If you have your own snorkel, feel free to bring it along.
Yes. Children aged 8 and up can participate in the tour, provided they feel comfortable in the water and can follow the guide's instructions.
No. No prior experience with cave diving or freediving is required. Our guides explain everything step by step and accompany you throughout the entire experience.
No. That is optional and not mandatory. It involves a short underwater passage of approximately 10 to 15 seconds, and our guides will explain it to you beforehand and prepare you.
After the wet cave, you explore a dry cave, where your guide provides more explanation about the formation of the limestone caves on Bonaire and the unique ecosystem found underground.
You enter the cave with the help of safety ropes and our guides, and then explore the underground pools with a diving mask and a professional underwater light. You move through various chambers while learning more about the geology and ecology of the cave.
The tour includes a guided walk to the cave, an exploration of the wet section of the cave – including snorkeling and a short freediving session – followed by an exploration of the dry section. Additionally, the guide discusses the geology of Bonaire, the formation of the caves, and the underground ecosystems.
The total experience lasts approximately 2 hours. About 1 hour and 30 minutes are spent exploring the wet cave, followed by 30 minutes in a dry cave.
