Start your first full vacation day in Willemstad. The historic city center consists of different neighborhoods, each with its own atmosphere.
Walk over the Queen Emma Bridge between Punda and Otrobanda, admire the colorful buildings on Handelskade, and wander through the streets of Otrobanda. Here you'll find a lot of street art, small shops, cafes, and historic buildings.
Pietermaai and Scharloo are also fun to explore. Allow at least half a day for Willemstad, so you can not only take the well-known photos but also have time to wander around and have lunch somewhere.

Today you will experience one of the absolute highlights of your trip: a day trip to Klein CuraçaoThis uninhabited island is a 1.5-hour boat ride from the main island and offers everything you'd expect from a tropical paradise: white sand, clear blue water, tranquility, and nature.
The travel time, type of boat, and amenities vary per excursion. Some day trips offer breakfast, a barbecue, an open bar, and a private beach house. Other trips focus on speed boating or a smaller group.
On Klein Curaçao, you can swim, snorkel, hike to the lighthouse, and see the shipwreck. Sea turtles are often spotted, but this is wildlife and therefore never guaranteed.
Compare the travel time, catering, shaded areas, and facilities on the island beforehand. This way, you can choose a trip that suits your group.
Notice: There is no regular ferry service to Klein Curaçao. Most visitors go on an organized day trip or private boat. Therefore, book this tour well in advance.

After a full day on the water, it's time to explore the west side of Curaçao.

At Playa Piskadó, you regularly have the chance to see sea turtles. Keep a sufficient distance, do not touch the animals, and let them determine where they swim.
